Synopsis
Believing that the world will end that very day, three mental patients Coco, Tsumuji, and Satoru set out upon a journey. Walking upon the tops of the walls of the city, they seek to find a picnic spot with the best vantage point to view the final event.

Intriguing film about escapism and mental illness. A trio of misfits break out of their institution and go wandering, convinced the end of the world is near. There's something similar about 'Wings of desire' here that I can't put my finger on, plus alot of this must have inspired Park Chan Wook's 'Im a cyborg' and it has an insanely beautiful ending. 7/10
