A little imagination goes a long way
A coming-of-middle-age comedy that chronicles the unlikely friendship between failed author Richard Dunne and a Long Island teen who teaches him a thing or two about growing up, all under the disapproving eye of his long-suffering wife and his imaginary Superhero friend.

A story about two loners crossing paths for a while, without getting all romancy. I really liked it, especially because of the great performances by Emma Stone and Jeff Daniels. And even Ryan Reynolds (who I can't stand most of the time) was great.
Watched for Emma Stone, but ended up enjoying the main character as well.
Not really a comedy. A quirky Drama that packs an emotional punch. Great Cast!!!
I think it's mostly well done. Emma Stone is brilliant as she always has been. I do think it was a mistake to include
the kiss
at the end though.
Fairly cliche indie film. The quirky, damaged characters seem kind of obvious and not much happens in the plot, other than a message about what it takes to grow up or move on. Still, it's entertaining and you should dig it enough if you like the cast.
