I like this action movie, where Roger Moore plays a character not entirely unlike Bond but without the slapstick humour. Frankly, I believe that this is one of the best movies ever made by Moore. Anthony Perkins is excellent too, which certainly raises the overall quality of the movie even further. An entertaining movie for a popcorn evening.

Yes, Roger Moore did something else besides Bond. I watched this one with my dad way back so when this popped up on Netflix I had to watch it again. It's a pretty good movie with a very good cast that is well known. An action thriller in the classic sense. The story is frightingly believable if you consider how important oil is for almost any nation. Moore's charakter is a bit anachronistic and certainly misogynistic but at least they take the time, if briefly, to explain it. Whether you are a fan of early 80s cinema, thrillers in general, or just want to see Moore playing someone else - give it a try.
