I'm sure he's a fun figure, and in his own lightly deranged way is a live-action commentary on how politics is practiced. Having said that: That slightly unhinged-verging-on-insane style does not lend itself well to a documentary format. The whole thing feels like the ramblings of a very confused person translated to film, and not in a fun way. Between the quirkiness, the information just gets lost. The whole production swings wildly between comedy (or something like it), documentary and self-aggrandizement. Not fun to watch, although the man himself seems like a good egg.
