Monday Morning is exactly the kind of exploitation flick that should normally be right up my alley. However, despite its potential, the film fails to leave a lasting mark; without an engaging enough actor to truly connect to, the high-stakes tension feels hollow. While the action beats are competent, the lack of a compelling central performance leaves the experience feeling mostly average rather than the cult classic it clearly strives to be.
