I am yours and you are mine.
A psychiatrist, Martin Dysart, investigates the savage blinding of six horses with a metal spike in a stable in Hampshire, England. The atrocity was committed by an unassuming seventeen-year-old stable boy named Alan Strang, the only son of an opinionated but inwardly-timid father and a genteel, religious mother. As Dysart exposes the truths behind the boy's demons, he finds himself face-to-face with his own.

The problem for me is that it's boring. It's flirts and skirts around the taboo of horse sex too much. As if just the curiosity and nature of the subject matter is enough to drive a movie. It's like a very boring puzzle and we all know what the bigger picture looks like. Even the opening monologue annoyed me. It tried to give a deeper psycological meaning and human mindset to what's basically a horse being aroused because of stimulation. Not fully pretentious but not as deep as it seems.
