Haven't seen the first film, and you don't really need to. It's pretty obvious what happened in the first movie with those characters also starring in the sequel as there's numerous hints throughout the film. I enjoyed the movie, most of the times predictable, but who cares? As long as it's entertaining! :) That's what matters.
