Directed by the great Lau Kar-leung, with stunning scenery, excellent martial arts, and Jet Li in drag. It's worth at least a look, don't yah think?!?

Flimsy in plot, lighthearted in tone, varied in landscapes & absolutely breathtaking in it's fight scenes. Martial Arts of Shaolin was just pure, unadulterated fun. There is a literal needle in a haystack moment where evil soldiers attempt to blindly stab someone in a haystack & later we get a Bollywood style song, shit rules.
