Interesting twist on the formula with one very impressive set piece. Pretty good.

At one point I thought the plot might take an interesting turn but in few time disappointed me again.

Lake Bodom is more treacherous and not as shallow as it seems on the surface. Look, this is just your basic, above average slasher film with a couple nice twists in the middle. If we're judging movies by how successfully they achieve what they set out to be (and we are), then Lake Bodom goes down as a good movie. (If you decide to watch this, Google the Lake Bodom murders in Finland in 1960 first; you'll get some important background.)
