…they didn’t make history, they stole it!
Young history buff Kevin can scarcely believe it when six dwarfs emerge from his closet one night. Former employees of the Supreme Being, they've purloined a map charting all of the holes in the fabric of time and are using it to steal treasures from different historical eras. Taking Kevin with them, they variously drop in on Napoleon, Robin Hood and King Agamemnon before the Supreme Being catches up with them.

Kind of a shame really, because I was hoping for a lot more. I didn't think this movie sucked, but it just really has some waves of interest. The sequence with Robin Hood was hillarious and great from start to end. But they you get into a sequence on a boat with beauty and the beast which is pretty boring. Here's a intro to a crazy funny villian, and then we get another boring scene on a boat. I really thought I'd be in for something awesome based on reviews and talk. I don't know where that came from. Was this just because of when it came out or something? Who knows. I'd just say give it a watch if you're super into Terry Gilliam, or if you are looking for something to fill the screen while you're doing your taxes.
This fantasy adventure works actually better than what it seems at first. Yes, it is an English movie with a pretty low budget for such a movie (5 million). It has though quite a number of stars that participate and one clearly see the hand of Monty Python Terry Gilliam in getting the most out of the limited budget. A good and entertaining movie.
By all means bad movie, i understand its background and the whole ten yards but it was barely watchable
