Baniye ka dimag aur Miyanbhai ki daring.
Set in the early ’80s and ’90s in Gujarat, India, ‘Raees’ is a fictitious story of a crime lord named Raees, who builds an entire empire from scratch, and a police officer who is determined to bring him down.

Raees has this smoky, lived-in vibe that makes Gujarat’s bootlegging world feel strangely intimate. SRK carries the film with that calm menace only he can pull off, and Nawazuddin keeps stealing scenes like he’s bored of letting others have fun. The plot isn’t revolutionary, but it’s gripping because the characters breathe. Rahul Dholakia clearly wanted a morally tangled rise-and-fall, and he gets pretty close thanks to SRK’s sharp, wounded charm.
A not so typical Srk movie. Good watch for gangster drama lovers.
