Dialogue heavy adaptation of Philip Roth's novel is perhaps more suited to the stage. The film is not without merit, but there are times when the film tests the patience with all of its moralising and speech giving.

Interesting and promising beginning but it never left the station, last 2/3 is a total snooze fest.
