Badly reviewed in some corners, this isn't as bad as some critics have made out. It's a slow-paced film, preferring introspection over all-out action. A good cast helps, giving life to scenes that may have been come off worse in the hands of lesser actors. It's not a great film, but it's no disaster, and with some patience, I think people may get something from it, despite the naysayers.
