I had never heard of this movie and was utterly delighted by its charm--Alec Guinness is so wonderful in these Ealing comedies, and I loved his hapless, meek-but-with-some-grit role as Dutch here. Add in Stanley Hollway, and you've got a perfect chicken soup movie.
