This is another Fred Astaire and Ginger Roberts film where their romance takes the backstage a bit. And while they aren't neccesarily the main romance, they are still the showstoppers with their singing and dancing routines. Ginger plays an American singer pretending to be a foreign duchess while Astaire is her ex-boyfriend who could reveal her charade, amd mixed in with it all is a women's dress shop and their desire to help save it from closing.
