Video killed the Red Star
In late eighties, in Ceausescu's Romania, a black market VHS bootlegger and a courageous female translator brought the magic of Western films to the Romanian people and sowed the seeds of a revolution.

A fascination look at how the illegal import and dubbing of American films helped to disrupt the communist regime in Romania. The main "story" elements were reenacted and they feature all the key players of that time in the documentary which is great. Accompanying this are various interviews with people who grew up with this or visited VHS screenings at that time. Feels pretty much complete.
