Intriguing version of Jesus' time in the wilderness. Whilst not necessarily Biblical in its telling it is still authentic to the character Jesus may have been as He gets to grips with humanity and His mission. Quietly powerful.

A compelling poetic expression of Christ in the desert and the theme of the relationship between father, mother and son is authentic. There are so many psychological nuances in this film.
