First came love... then came Reverend Frank.
Newly engaged, Ben and Sadie can't wait to start their life together and live happily ever after. However Sadie's family church's Reverend Frank won't bless their union until they pass his patented, "foolproof" marriage prep course consisting of outrageous classes, outlandish homework assignments and some outright invasion of privacy.

_License to Wed_ is a mediocre screwball comedy that delivers a few laughs. The story follows a young engaged couple as they go through an eccentric minister’s marriage course. Starring Mandy Moore, John Krasinski, and Robin Williams, the cast is pretty good; and a couple of Krasinski’s _Office_ co-stars make cameos. However, Williams’ portrayal of a minister borders on bad taste at times, and the jokes are stereotypical marriage jokes that are hit and miss. While it’s entertaining, _License to Wed_ is a rather formulaic and forgettable film.
The star of Robin Williams shines everywhere. He gives to this mediocre comedy a great boost.
