very well made with awesome scripture references/Christian elements also very well shot even though it does have som e plot holes/dragging on in the beggining

John Ford and John Wayne team-up for the Christmas western _3 Godfathers_. After robbing a bank, three thieves escape into the desert where they find a pregnant woman who dies shortly after giving birth; but not before the thieves vow to protect her baby and get him to safety. The film does an interesting job at incorporating a nativity motif, with the thieves as the wise men following a star. However, the directing is a little weak; shooting around some of the major events like the bank robbery and birth scenes. Also, the comedy is a little hit-and-miss. Yet despite its flaws, _3 Godfathers_ is an entertaining film with a heartening message about sacrifice and redemption.
