Synopsis

Great adventure film, well made with good actors and direction.

One of those rare instances when a movie was remade wholesale: script, music, even scene composition. Not at all inferior to the '37 version, but not remarkably superior either. While I prefer Granger & Kerr to Coleman & Caroll, the supporting cast isn't as strong.
