[RTVE Play] Possibly one of the few examples of Portuguese cinema in the horror genre, with a story based on a popular tale about a witch who managed to seize Alva's lands by seducing men. The telefilm, belonging to the series "Sabbath" (1989), has a strange tone, mixing zombies with gothic terror, but it turns out to be more curious than interesting. The most attractive is the representation of folklore, an anthropological look at behaviors and beliefs at a time when the unknown was considered dangerous. And that this unknown element is a woman has connotations that are now more relevant.
