While Karla's story is an inspiring one, this movie is marred by bad performances, including a rather annoying leading lady, and an out-of-order chronology. Maybe, someday, her story will be told in celluloid form in a more effective way; this film, however, is likely to make Christians cringe and non-Christians scoff.
