I liked it. I really enjoyed the cinematography, the environment... the performances by the actors are really good. The plot is intriguing but it is a bit confused and non conclusive. I would have really liked to see or to hear a closure. It is recommendable though. Another good mexican movie.

More reliant on atmosphere than any plot the movie works pretty well for most of it's runtime. It however eventually takes the turn one would expect only to then return to "The Darkness" again. If you can live with the mystery that is fine, if not this is going to suck.
