Synopsis

CGI prequel to the Appleseed franchise — Deunan and Briareos' origin story in a pre-Olympus wasteland. Technically accomplished for its budget; narratively functional. The franchise's philosophical ambitions are present but underdeveloped relative to Shirow's source material.
