Probably would have got better reviews if it didn't come out so close to Like Father Like Son. Most critics didn't give it a chance due to that. At least Siskel & Ebert saw the genius in Judge Reinhold's performance. Being that Kirk Cameron didn't act like a complete dimwit as a teenager in Like Father, Like Son. Dudley Moore was over the top childish, like he switched places with a toddler. Despite many curses for being PG, Vice Versa is a nice feel good movie. With some laughs due to Reinhold. He's not better than Tom Hanks in Big but he just might be a tie.
