No money. Still funny.
Arthur loses his fortune for staying with Linda, right as the two were preparing to adopt a child. As their marriage suffers, Arthur plans for a way to get his money back, but first he must sober up and get a real job.

It's frustrating how close this comes to being a solid sequel. If it was about a half-hour shorter (start by getting rid of the Gielgud scenes; his reappearance is handled poorly) and if the same actress played Susan in both films, then we'd be cooking with gas. Much like Joker Folie a Deux, the main problem is that this film sucks whenever it spins its wheels relitigating the premise of the first film. Meanwhile, the film sings every time it tries to do something new (Arthur breaking in the new butler; Arthur charming bar patrons).
