[MUBI] A playful film about making movies and playful personal relationships, it manages to convey the messiness of filmmaking, the helplessness of the foreigner, the mental dissociation of the film director... it jokes with the clichés of a journalist who loves movies John Woo and he hates the navel-gazing of French cinema. But at the same time it is a story that maintains the co-reference on the relationship between art and life, the abstract and the concrete.
