Synopsis
After dying in a car crash, Bobby Fantana is forced to pay for his misdeeds by becoming someone's guardian angel. He reluctantly agrees to watch over awkward high schooler Lenny Barnes, teaching him how to be cool and confident. As Bobby teaches Lenny, the two form a close bond.

Not quite an 80's classic, but this is charming enough. It's also one of the few films I missed watching as a teen in the 80's. Glad I finally caught up with this one.

This one's from 1985 so I thought I'd check it out. It turned out to be your typical romcom, very similar deal to Can't Buy Me Love (1987), with a guardian angel added in there. Then I noticed the actress who played the mother is the mother in Malcolm In The Middle (2000). She hasn't aged a bit!
