Pride
Based on the inspirational true story.
In 1984, a group of LGBT activists decide to raise money to support the National Union of Mineworkers during their lengthy strike. There is only one problem: the Union seems embarrassed to receive their support.

Pride is one of the sincerest movies I watched lately. I laughed many times, cried in the final and I was angry at myself for hold off from watching this movie until this time.
They took a very difficult subject and made it fucking fabulous.
Hefina: [laughing while holding a dildo in one hand and a gay magazine in the other] "Jesus God that takes me back!" The performance from everyone was pretty good and nobody did a terrible performance. There were all good. The story in this was really interesting and I always like those kind of true stories movies where afterwards I can look up to see the real person and read more about them. I always look forward to that. The directing and the writing was all pretty good as well. Overall rating: I'm glad that a movie like "Pride" exist. I may not felt super inspirited after the movie, but it doesn't mean you will. I say go watch this movie, it's pretty well done.
Pride Month 1 film a day challenge: #10 This story's too good to be true???? but oh my god i'm so happy it is. The movie's not everything too incredible but the story for sure moved me to tears more than once. Absolutely magical stuff. 8/10
A little paint-by-numbers, but it is still pretty good. Lots of solid laughs and a good emotional core. Very British.
