Synopsis
In 1944 Poland, a Jewish shop keeper named Jakob is summoned to ghetto headquarters after being caught out after curfew. While waiting for the German Kommondant, Jakob overhears a German radio broadcast about Russian troop movements. Returned to the ghetto, the shopkeeper shares his information with a friend and then rumors fly that there is a secret radio within the ghetto.

How can it be that nobody has voted for this movie? I'm from Holland and can say it belongs right there in the list: - The Pianist - La vita è bella - Saving Private Ryan - Schintlers List All great war movies, which show you a different aspect of the 2nd World War.

This movie reminds me "la vita è bella" by r. benigni, many aspects are similar. Globally good.
