An effective survival/animal attack horror with fairly low stakes. I guess survival films don't really have any more to add to the genre because this is a pretty standard fare, but I was quite entertained. It's pretty effective in portraying the intimidating side of nature. Some great suspense leading to the bear appearance. The attack is quite gruesome and the chemistry between the two leads is decent as well. An easy watch.

A low budget film but a great movie! It had me in suspense from the beginning until the end. I definitely recommend watching this movie since it will give you a whole new perspective on the realities of backpacking in foreign country and the importance of being well prepared :)

Well, I must say, if I'm supposed to be afraid ofbsomething, I like to see it for more than a few minutes. With that said, it is a very slow film with very few scenes to warrant calling it a horror. I wouldn't recommend this.

This movie is so far fetched.

Pretty grim scene when the bear turns up, but the movie is well worth a watch. Succeeds in creating fearful suspense. MP is pretty good.
