Just like every other outstanding movie of the 70s, this film has the big 3 essentials: Fashion, Soundtrack and the Cars. Isaac Hayes played the West-Coast bookend to his East Coast counterpart Shaft. "Mack" Truck Turner is a football player who when injured becomes a s skip tracer/bounty hunter and he takes no crap from anyone. To quote a line from Patrick Swayze's "Roadhouse," "He's got ballz big enough to c** in a dump truck." The supporting cast is just as impressive with Nichelle Nichols doing a complete character recreation from Communication Office of the Enterprise to Queen Bee running a prostitute stable. There are plenty of other notables including Scatman Crothers playing a cameo role and Yaphet Kotto playing the big boss of pimps. Plenty of action, car chases and gun play.
