This is one peach of a movie. A rural fairytale about taking time to find the things that really matter. Thw widow Thayer is a gem, Louise Fletcher is in impressive voice, and really the whole cast and mood is so uplifting in a deliciously romantic way. Highly recommended.

It's a very nice movie with a very 90s atmosphere, and slow-paced which I really liked. While it's a pretty straightforward story, not everything is spelled out for us which is nice and allow us to discover everything little by little and fill out the gaps on our own. That being said, I wish the relationship between Henry and Pike would have been a little more developped, especially at the end. [spoiler] I mean, we never even got a confession! Pike returns from the airport and that's it... [/spoiler]
