Synopsis
Police officers around Tokyo are being murdered by an unknown assailant. When Ran witnesses an attempt on the life of one of her friends in the police, she loses her memory. Now, Conan and Inspector Megure must find the murderer while Ran attempts to regain her lost memories.

With this one they touched the most emotional part of the saga, or one of the most emotional. They combined a tense police case with Ran's personal drama. The Junior Detective League [SPOILER] witnesses the murder of a police officer and a chain of serial killings against officers begins. But as I was saying, the true emotional weight comes from Ran. After witnessing a shooting, she loses her memory and forgets everything, Shinichi, Conan, her entire life. And well, watching Conan trying to reconnect with her, knowing things about him that she no longer remembers, having to prove he's trustworthy... it hurts. [/SPOILER] The police mystery works, but what elevates the movie above others is that it makes you feel something. If you're a big fan of the Shinichi-Ran relationship, this movie is essential.
