much better (not saying much) than Murphy's other films: Norbit, Meet Dave, The Adventures of Pluto Nash, Nutty Professor II: The Klumps...very similar theme/tone as Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories (2008), which i usually watch as a double feature when the mood hits me. not great, but cute enough.
