Synopsis
Josie, Melody and Val are three small-town girl musicians determined to take their rock band out of their garage and straight to the top, while remaining true to their look, style and sound. They get a record deal which brings fame and fortune but soon realize they are pawns of two people who want to control the youth of America. They must clear their names, even if it means losing fame and fortune.

One of my all-time favorites. The body glitter in the promo photos really says it all. I'm a fool for early 2000s media and this has all the right ingredients. As I got older, the critique of the music business became more obvious and profound. Just an all around great movie! Entertaining while exposing the machine.

Such a fun, warm, funny movie. Early 2000s galore. The 3dx surround headphones made me particularly chuckle cause I was listening on spatial audio!

The film is predictable, cheesy, and not subtle at all. I have no choice but to love it.
