Did I care about any of these characters? No. Did I care about William Peter Blatty's religious arguments? No. Was I amused by the comedy? No. Thrilled by the action? No. I'll give it points for being a series of moving images with synchronized sound. It's technically proficient. It's also fundamentally misguided.
There was absolutely no character in this film that I cared about. Everyone was insane, which was likely the point, but I could sense the writer preaching through the characters.
