GO! GO! GO! It's Free-Wheeling Fun!
When the Kwimper family car runs out of fuel on a new Florida highway and an officious state supervisor tries to run them off, Pop digs in his heels and decides to do a little homesteading. He, his son Toby and their 'adopted' children—Holly, Ariadne, and the twins—start their own little community along a strip of the roadside.

there was something in this movie, man. like it had the tropes that were becoming commonplace in elvis movies, girls thirsting after elvis's character despite being a dick to them, songs at every corner, elvis being a veteran, elvis's character have stupid names etc., but it does them WELL. every member of the cast was eating up their roles but alan hewitt, arthur o'connell & joanna moore are notable. the soundtrack is full of bangers; "im not the marrying kind" and "what a wonderful life" are literally straight fire. plus if all that wasn't enough elvis is playing a blond(ish) himbo. the movie is just a downright silly, feel-good comedy.
That's actually a really fun and entertaining movie.
Love the movie and the part Elvis plays. As dim witted Toby. Weird seeing Elvis sing and not move! Great movie!
