How do you improve on Stephen King? Well you can’t and to try to do so would be folly, as demonstrated by the remake of _Maximum Overdrive_, _Trucks_. The film follows a group of people at a local Nevada tourist center who are attacked by several trucks that mysteriously come to life. The plot is a little truer to the source material than the original, but the tone is way too series and the acting is terrible. And “scares” and kill scenes are laughable bad. A lifeless, dull scrap heap, _Trucks_ is an atrocious adaptation of Stephen King’s work.

Cheese to the extreme! If you're a fan of over-acting, over-dramatic dialogue and thin plots, this is your movie! This falls into the 'so bad it's good' category. The [spoiler]toy truck killing the mailman scene[/spoiler] was laugh out loud material.
