A solid WWII movie that shows the hardships of war from the perspective of a US-Army unit. While the movie is good as such, the remarkable thing is that it is the real-life story of the lead actor, Audie Murphy, who became the most decorated soldier in WWII. They actually dialled some scenes down from what really happed because the moviemakers thought is was too unbelievable for the viewers. But that guy really did it! Wow. A man to look up to.
