Fantastic interview and concept by Brad Falchuk. It is a difficult watch but it was beautiful to see that despite MND taking almost everything from Eric Dane, he still had that beautiful twinkle in his eye. RIP McSteamy

I watched this the day it aired and I genuinely feel so much relief after watching it. There isn’t anything that is going to make Eric Dane’s death anything less than a complete tragedy, but I think that seeing his positive outlook, the way he viewed death, and how unafraid he was for himself brought me a sense of peace. I’ve now come to realize how powerful and meaningful it is when someone doesn’t fear death and is able to remain their cheerful, funny self even when going through something so difficult. I truly hope that his outlook helps to bring his family and loved ones peace too. More than anything I’m so happy that his daughters will have this video to look back on and I’m happy he got to say goodbye on his own terms and in his own words. The world lost a truly great human being the day he died, but he left behind a legacy that means he’ll never be forgotten.

So heartbreaking but yet so powerful. What a horrific disease. RIP Eric 😪
