The road to WrestleMania begins.
The Road to WrestleMania begins at Royal Rumble, and the top Superstars in WWE are set to compete for a championship bout at WrestleMania. The matches will begin with two superstars in the ring. At equally timed intervals, a new superstar enters the fray. Elimination only occurs when a superstar has gone over the top rope and both feet have touched the floor. This continues until there is just one superstar left standing as the winner of the Royal Rumble Match. Also, AJ Styles will put his incredible career on the line against Gunther and Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE championship against Sami Zayn.

Liv Morgan winning was the only good part. Roman winning is sickening.
saudi arabia is ruining all sports, the crowd didnt know half of the wrestlers
Welcome to the Saudi era
Royal Rumble 2026 was ultimately a fine event, but it once again reinforced why this style of show just isn’t for me. Four hours for four total matches leaves very little to actually sink your teeth into, and the pacing always feels dictated by spectacle rather than substance. The two Rumble matches themselves were perfectly serviceable, but both winners left me cold, which is a tough hurdle for an event where those outcomes are the selling point. Add in a surprisingly thin list of surprises, and the novelty wears off quicker than it should for WWE’s most concept-driven PLE. Nothing here was outright bad, but very little felt special either. When the most notable surprises are the Bella Twins and Powerhouse Hobbs, it’s hard not to feel underwhelmed. Especially coming just a week after a stronger Saturday Night’s Main Event, this felt like a reminder that the Royal Rumble concept carries the show more than the execution itself. Best Match: Gunther vs Styles Rating: 2.5/5 – 70% – Worth Watching
Skipping this one because it's a Saudi vanity project. I'll be missing on WM 2027 for the same reasons.
