Men from the Gutter is an early crime-thriller effort from Lam Nai-Choi that ends up being a bit disjointed and convoluted, but the action is decent. If you can get through the first thirty to forty-five minutes, it actually gets quite decent. This was one of the few Lam Nai-Choi movies I had never seen. Mostly because I have never really found the DVD release for a reasonable price. I ended up having to borrow this Celestial Pictures HK R3 release to finally get to see Men from the Gutter. It's worth the watch, though. If you can find it...
