Never give up.
During a solo voyage in the Indian Ocean, a veteran mariner awakes to find his vessel taking on water after a collision with a stray shipping container. With his radio and navigation equipment disabled, he sails unknowingly into a violent storm and barely escapes with his life. With any luck, the ocean currents may carry him into a shipping lane -- but, with supplies dwindling and the sharks circling, the sailor is forced to face his own mortality.

this is weak, really weak. so cliched, you already know exactly what happens, tired old crap. the protagonist is a fucking idiot who you prey for his death.
Don’t ever be so cocky to think that just because you can afford to solo sail the Indian Ocean, you should. Unless you have a death wish of course, in which case you’re a twat from the start and this is just natures way of weeding people like you out.
If you are expecting to be dragged through a roller coaster of action and excitement, you will certainly be disappointed. What I acquired from this movie is the stream of bad luck which this sailor was exposed to and his wit in attempting to stay alive. Well played Redford, very thought provoking.
