Oh good lord... it's like watching a trainwreck. lol. It's the granddaddy of dance-to-greatness movies, and with how dated it is, it just really goes to show just how stupid those kinds of movies are. It's absurdity is hilarious though and it can be quite entertaining if you like camp.
