Activist brigades organise a green-fingered resistance against destructive plants and neglected overgrowth around their villages in Galicia. The files they use to sharpen their chainsaws are sourced from a metal factory in Switzerland. Through these two territories, the filmmaker weaves an unexpected narrative - at once personal and political.

[Sheffield '25] The director establishes a connection between the personal and the collective narrative in this short film that connects Spanish emigration to Switzerland with the struggle to keep rural areas of Galicia protected from the fires that occur frequently, mainly due to the establishment of non-native species. The two territories establish a dialogue between the personal and the political, which speaks of those who left and those who remain, of the species and humans who have settled in other territories, of solidarity and the collective spirit.
