What's next after you've created the worst hit song ever?
A melancholic yet heartfelt story of the former singer of pop band Black Lace and his journey on the road with his aging mother and his partner, as he aims for a comeback.

[Sheffield '25] More than a music documentary, it ends up being a quite moving portrait of a musician imprisoned by the success of a song (the worst song in history) and so dedicated to his performances that he even receives comments from his partner about her frustration at the fact that he is less committed to her and their son than he is to music. Kim Hunter's film is not interested in remembering the trajectory of Black Lace, but in showing the last survivor doing just that, surviving, performing in clubs and pubs in Benidorm and looking after his beloved mother.
