I’m torn. They provided good evidence that Jason could have been violent (the pajamas?), but they didn’t have to beat him the way they they did. There is no excuse for that. And why would Molly keep a brick in the bedroom? Yeah, they said they wanted to paint it, sure. But to keep it in the bedroom? How convenient.

i didnt like that around the half-way they tried to make us believe father and molly is innocent. u cant play the victim after brutally killing a man who you were already plotting to steal his kids. she was delulu and liar before all that. her friends said it all. wasnt she already **recording** everything? so there were no voice recorders at the time they killed him? also shout out to grandma who slept during murder. very believable.

I didn't believe anything from Molly and her dad but what really did it for me was when she said she was advised by a lawyer to record and document her "abuse" in case she got divorced so she could get the kids. You're telling me you had to have a lawyer tell you to do that? You weren't compelled to record your own abuse out of fear and a desire to have proof to get justice for yourself? And if a lawyer did advise you, you're telling me they didn't ask you to document the abuse to take your alleged abuser to court? No, it was so you could get the kids IF you ever got a divorce???? As if getting out without a divorce wouldn't be your first priority as an abused person. Give me a fucking break. She wanted his kids; that's the motive. I believe the theory that she planned to get a rise out of him in front of her parents so she could file for divorce and get custody, but it went way south. She thought that would be her happy ending with the kids, as if their father wouldn't have fought for himself and for them even in that scenario. It's also disgusting that they lied about Mags' father saying he thought Jason killed his daughter, and then proceeded to provide not a shred of compelling evidence to support that theory. Molly and her dad, and the lawyers that represented them, are fucked up.

That is not self defense. Those injuries indicates pure intention of murder. I'm pretty sure Molly gave Jason something to be cranky.
