[VdR '25] The film is structured as a journey that makes several stops to trace the development of the recent history of Palestine and the conflict with Israel, establishing the route of the relationship between Yasser Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin, the two leaders who made a real effort to achieve peace. The journey of Palestinian diplomat Hassan Al Balawi in 2019 traces some of the background to the struggle for self-determination and offers an interesting note on the internal threats of disunity and betrayal that have prevented peace from being achieved even when they were willing to discuss it.
