[VdR '25] Three brothers continue the ancient practice of herding sheep through the mountains of North Macedonia during the summer, living alongside twenty sheepdogs in an environment where even domestic animals face the untamed wilderness. As the film's title suggests, the mountain remains unmoved, as it does every year and every summer of transhumance. But the city seen in the distance from the highest peak reveals itself as a yearning full of opportunities. Brand Ferro's cinematography manages to convey the beauty but also the wild spirit of the nature that surrounds the brothers.
